Now that I have figgured out how to blog from Firefox, sidestepping my Bloglines clip blog, I know Tim is going to tell me that it is really about time I got back to using del.icio.us. As google would have it, there is a simple way to get your del.icio.us bookmarks to post to your blog each day!
I ran across the a reference to “Paxos” in an article on MySQL replication. Turns out:
Paxos is a family of protocols for solving consensus in a network of unreliable processors.
In this case the load balancing MySQL jdbc connection pool lbpool has implemented paxos do do automatic master promotion when a master fails. Pretty schweet.

Since I have started posting to sailface again, I wanted a tool that would help me clib blog quickly. Kind of like the Bloglines clip blog tool for Firefox. This is my first post from ScribeFire. Looks like it could be the ticket!
